He carries himself beautifully in the show arena with smooth, balanced transitions and correct leads, making him a pleasure to ride and watch. Beyond the ring, Okie is a seasoned and capable horse. He has trail ridden, traveled mountain terrain, packed animals out of thr back country, worked cattle, participated in parades, and handled a variety of environments. His background is diverse, including barrel racing, working cattle, 4-H participation, drill team experience, and carrying flags. Okie is an “in-your-pocket” type horse, forming a meaningful connection with his person and will willingly come across the field to meet you. While he enjoys the company of other horses and thrives in a herd setting, he is also comfortable working independently.
